Screening for Plagiarism Policy
Bakti Cendekia: Journal of Community Service and Development is committed to upholding academic integrity and strictly prohibits all forms of plagiarism. To ensure the originality of submitted manuscripts, the journal implements the following plagiarism screening policy:
-
Plagiarism Check
All manuscripts submitted to the journal will be screened using plagiarism detection software (e.g., Turnitin, iThenticate, or equivalent tools) before the peer review process begins. -
Similarity Threshold
Manuscripts with a similarity index of more than 20% (excluding references and quotations) will be returned to the authors for revision or rejected outright, depending on the severity. -
Self-Plagiarism
Reuse of the authors' previously published content without proper citation is also considered plagiarism. Authors must ensure that their submission is substantially original and not redundant. -
Editorial Action
If plagiarism is detected after publication, the journal reserves the right to retract the article and notify the authors' institutions.
By submitting a manuscript, authors declare that their work is original and free from plagiarism in any form.
