Author Guidelines

Authors interested in submitting their manuscripts to Convivium: Journal of Religious and Cultural Studies (JRCS) are expected to follow the guidelines below:

1. Types of Manuscripts Accepted

JRCS welcomes:

  • Research articles

  • Theoretical papers

  • Critical literature reviews

  • Interdisciplinary case studies

2. General Requirements

  • Manuscripts must be written in clear, academic English or Bahasa Indonesia.

  • Submissions must be original, unpublished, and not under consideration elsewhere.

  • Authors must confirm their manuscripts are free from plagiarism and adhere to publication ethics.

  • All contributing authors should be listed.

  • Any conflicts of interest must be disclosed.

3. Manuscript Structure

Manuscripts should be organized as follows:

  • Title (max. 16 words)

  • Author(s) and affiliation(s)

  • Abstract (150–250 words) in both English and Indonesian

  • Keywords (3–5 keywords)

  • Introduction

  • Literature Review (if applicable)

  • Research Methodology

  • Results and Discussion

  • Conclusion

  • Acknowledgments (optional)

  • References

4. Formatting Guidelines

  • Length: 4,000–8,000 words (including references and appendices)

  • Font: Times New Roman, 12 pt, 1.5 spacing, standard margins (4-3-3-3 cm)

  • File format: Microsoft Word (.doc/.docx)

5. Citation and References

  • Use the APA Style (latest edition) for citations and references.

  • All in-text citations must be included in the reference list, and vice versa.

  • Authors are encouraged to use reference management tools such as Zotero, Mendeley, or EndNote.
