Peer Review Process
All manuscripts submitted to Convivium: Journal of Religious and Cultural Studies (JRCS) undergo a double-blind peer review process to ensure academic quality and impartiality.
Review Stages:

Initial Editorial Screening
The editorial team evaluates the submission for relevance to the journal’s focus and scope, adherence to author guidelines, and ethical compliance. Manuscripts that do not meet the criteria will be rejected without peer review. -
Reviewer Assignment
Eligible manuscripts are sent to at least two independent reviewers with relevant expertise. Both the reviewers’ and authors’ identities are kept confidential to maintain objectivity. -
Peer Review Process
Reviewers assess the manuscript based on originality, scholarly contribution, methodology, clarity, and relevance. They provide one of the following recommendations:-
Accept without revision

Accept with minor revisions

Revise and resubmit (major revisions)

Editorial Decision
The editor makes the final decision based on reviewers' comments. If there is significant disagreement between reviewers, a third reviewer may be consulted. -
Revision by Authors
Authors are invited to revise their manuscript based on reviewer feedback. A detailed response letter must accompany the revised manuscript. -
Final Checks & Publication
Once revisions are approved, the manuscript undergoes final editing, formatting, and publication preparation.
