Publication Ethics

Educational Research Review and Practice (ERRP) is committed to upholding high standards of publication ethics and adheres to the guidelines set by the Committee on Publication Ethics (COPE). All parties involved in the publication process — editors, authors, reviewers, and the publisher — are expected to uphold academic integrity and transparency at every stage of publication.

Responsibilities of Editors:

  • Ensure the review process is fair, objective, and timely.

  • Maintain the confidentiality of submitted manuscripts.

  • Avoid conflicts of interest in editorial decisions.

  • Make decisions based solely on academic merit without discrimination.

Responsibilities of Authors:

  • Ensure that submitted work is original, not previously published, and not under consideration elsewhere.

  • Avoid plagiarism, data manipulation, and redundant publication.

  • Properly cite and reference all sources used.

  • Accurately reflect the contributions of all listed authors.

  • Disclose any conflicts of interest transparently.

Responsibilities of Reviewers:

  • Provide scientific, objective, and constructive feedback.

  • Maintain the confidentiality of the manuscript during the review process.

  • Not use manuscript content for personal advantage.

  • Decline to review if there is a conflict of interest.

Responsibilities of the Publisher:

  • Support editors in ensuring ethical and professional editorial practices.

  • Maintain journal integrity by issuing retractions, corrections, or clarifications when necessary.

  • Provide a transparent and open publishing system.
